Counselor in Training Program
Are you too old for day camps, but too young to find a job? Interested in working with kids? Looking to gain work skills and experience and an opportunity to make some money? This program is for those interested in gaining experience and an understanding of what it takes to be a dynamic camp counselor? The Counselor in Training program (CIT) provides hands-on experience combining fun, team building activities, leadership training, and first aid/CPR certification. Candidates for the program must apply only at www.ejrp.org. Click on "CIT PROGRAM". Applicants will be interviewed for a final placement in the program. This is a competitive process. Final participants will spend two weeks in training. Upon successful completion of the training, and a satisfactory interview and evaluation, CIT's may be afforded the opportunity to work for 20-hours a week for two weeks at Camp Maple Street and/or Camp REACH.
