Brad Luck, Director
Brad's first job ever was at EJRP at the age of 15, serving as a lifeguard and summer camp counselor. After graduating from Essex High School, he received his Bachelor’s Degree from Wake Forest University, with a double major in Business and Political Science. After graduating, he returned to his hometown, Essex Junction, to work for local non-profit Essex CHIPS (Community Helping to Inspire People to Succeed). With the mission of promoting healthy youth development and substance abuse prevention, Brad served as the Community Outreach Coordinator and then Executive Director. In June 2006, Brad left CHIPS to become co-owner of a business in downtown Burlington. In June 2007, Brad became the Interim Director at EJRP. In July, 2008, he became the Director. He earned his Master's Degree from UVM in Public Administration. Brad is the A-Team boy’s basketball coach at ADL Intermediate School and the head coach of the Essex High School Men’s Rugby Club. He served on the Essex Selectboard from 2012-2016. He is also involved in the Positive Youth Sports Alliance of Essex, Essex Memorial Day Parade Committee, and Heart and Soul of Essex.
